The Technical Onboarding Specialist is a technically grounded, customer-facing role focused on configuring and delivering the RocketRez platform for clients across the tourism and attractions industry.
Location: This role is based in Canada (Remote).
Key Responsibilities: Collaborating with Sales and Technical teams to deeply understand customer requirements and configuration needs. Building RocketRez solutions within RocketOffice, including financial setup, ticketing, scheduling, rates, venue/capacity, memberships, upsells, events, retail, F&B, email/SMS, OTAs, and more. Acting as a trusted technical advisor, guiding customers on how to best leverage the platform to achieve their business goals. Partnering with customer stakeholders to integrate the platform with third-party solutions such as payment gateways, CRMs, and marketing tools. Independently managing assigned implementation projects from planning through completion, including stakeholder coordination, risk identification, and status reporting. Documenting each customer’s solution in detail so future support can understand why configuration decisions were made. Communicating proactively with customers throughout the configuration process to obtain feedback and approval. Identifying and driving process improvement initiatives that streamline the implementation program. Working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Support, Customer Success, and Training to develop and deliver solutions.
Key Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS customer configuration and/or implementation. Strong technical skills, including working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and API integrations. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and independently. Proactive, self-starting mindset with a drive to exceed expectations and solve problems creatively. Accountability, humility, and a team-first approach.
