Responsibilities
Tasks
Develop production schedules and duty assignments to ensure proper functioning Evaluate daily operations Plan and organize daily operations Develop equipment maintenance schedules and recommend the replacement of machines Supervise staff Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality Project management Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control Ensure smooth operation of equipment Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met Communicate technical problems, processes and solutions Co-ordinate multidisciplinary projects Train to maintain high levels of technical proficiency Work in a multidisciplinary environment Communicate with other workers to co-ordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments Offer mentoring Coordinate work activities to ensure projects meet deadlines and budgets
