What is this position responsible for?

• Defining and ensuring the strict execution of corporate brand design standards and consistency across all showrooms globally, covering furniture planning, finishes applications, and design guidelines.
• Leading the development of corporate design guidelines and assets for the seamless integration of newly launched products into showrooms to maintain brand integrity.
• Directly managing the design development and implementation phases for major brand-defining showroom projects such as the Design Days showroom.
• The management of the Design Days showroom design development project phase and assistance during the implementation phase.
• Coordinating the deployment of all new layouts, brand assets, and design tools to support regional showroom design managers in achieving corporate design standards.
• Ensuring brand consistency across all showrooms using furniture planning and finishes applications and design guidelines.
• Coordinate with the Design and Corporate Marketing teams to determine and prioritize new products to be integrated into showrooms
• Serve as a liaison between Corporate Design and Marketing and the various regional showroom teams in the reallocation and/or decommissioning of showroom assets.
• Support the roll out of Teknion Brand initiatives into showrooms.
• Be responsible for the Design Days showroom design and specification, managing all aspects from layout design and product selection to cross-functional coordination with internal and external teams
• Act as a key member of the Workplace Intelligence team in the identification and communication of optimal planning with new and existing products for use in visual assets and digital marketing initiatives
• Specify and execute product orders when necessary

What skills & qualifications are preferred?

• College or university degree in Interior Design, Environmental Design, Industrial Design, or a related field is essential.
• Knowledge of the contract furniture industry, architecture and interior design.
• Excellent computer skills with proficiency in furniture specification software (CET, Project Matrix or Cap2020), AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Keyshot or other visualization software, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
• Possess well-developed analytical and strategic thinking skills and be detail-oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills for coordinating global standards.
• Highly creative and detailed - oriented professional with strong leadership and organizational skills to manage high profile projects.
• Excellent time management skills

The expected base salary range for this position will be starting at $74,410.00. Final base salary offers will reflect an assessment of the selected candidate's skills, demonstrated competencies, and adherence to our internal pay equity framework.
