What You'll Do
Reporting to the Manager, Digital Merchandising (Mark’s), the Associate Manager, Digital Merchandising (Mark’s) is a key contributor to delivering engaging, conversion-focused, and customer-centric shopping experiences across the Mark’s and L'Équipeur eCommerce websites.
The Associate Manager, Digital Merchandising is responsible for the digital presentation and strategic planning of product merchandising across our eCommerce websites to deliver engaging, conversion-focused, and customer-centric shopping experiences. This role combines hands-on merchandising in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Adobe Target with analytics-driven decision-making to continually improve content placement, navigation, product presentation, and promotional execution.
Working closely with Digital Merchandising Operations, Merchandising, UX, Marketing, and Analytics teams, the Associate Manager ensures that product stories, seasonal campaigns, and curated content are delivered seamlessly to the customer while meeting commercial goals and business objectives. You will help run the day-to-day operations of the Digital Merchandising team at Mark’s to deliver a best-in-class customer experience. The Digital Merchandising team is responsible for driving eCommerce and brick-and-mortar sales by working collaboratively across the organization to execute a strong digital strategy that prioritizes the customer and drives results for the business.
Success in this role is measured through strong execution, thoughtful use of data and insights, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality digital experiences at scale.
Own the planning, coordination, and execution of general merchandising journeys and experiences across Mark’s / LEQ digital channels. Translate business priorities, promotional strategies, and brand objectives into compelling, customer-first onsite experiences that drive engagement and conversion. Ensure digital storytelling, value propositions, and promotional mechanics are clearly communicated and executed with consistency and accuracy. Monitor and analyze site performance, customer behavior, and eCommerce sales results using analytics and reporting tools to identify opportunities for improvement. Partner with Analytics and Optimization teams to inform testing strategies and continuous improvement of various areas of the website, including category landing pages. Support and lead components of cross-banner, enterprise digital initiatives that impact general merchandising transactional experiences. Contribute to the development of scalable frameworks, standards, and best practices that improve operational efficiency and execution consistency. Act as a subject matter lead for general digital merchandising within broader digital projects and change initiatives. Build strong working relationships with Merchandising, Marketing, UX, Product, IT, and Operations teams to ensure seamless execution. Partner with internal and external teams to troubleshoot, track, and resolve onsite or back-end issues that impact the customer experience. Work collaboratively within the Digital Merchandising team to manage workflows, timelines, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Experience in eCommerce, digital merchandising, retail, or related field. Strong understanding of online shopping behaviors and how digital merchandising influences conversion and customer confidence. Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) or similar CMS platforms Proven analytical skills with the ability to translate data and insights into clear recommendations (experience with tools such as Google Analytics is an asset). Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including comfort presenting insights and recommendations to stakeholders. A collaborative, proactive mindset with a desire to improve processes, elevate execution standards, and deliver meaningful business impact.
Broadband Salary Range: $64,000 – $106,000 CAD
Our typical hiring range is between $64,000 and $75,000. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements. For critical roles, the compensation offering will be reviewed to ensure alignment with market rate and conditions and the unique value you bring to the role.
