We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Transportation team. This position manages the design, execution and evaluation of complex transportation plans to deliver a safe, reliable, and efficient transportation network. This position works closely with the planning functions in Engineering, Maintenance, Aviation, and Transport Services to implement comprehensive, division-level planning that promotes consistency of planning activities across the division and improves integration of planning with budgeting and asset management objectives for the network.

Essential Qualifications

Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the qualifications below. • Bachelor’s degree in one of the transportation disciplines such as civil engineering, economics, planning or logistics, or a related field;
• Experience carrying out and managing economic and/or policy research;
• Experience analyzing transportation budgets, projects, and issues;
• Experience managing and delivering complex projects with multiple stakeholders;
• Demonstrated experience applying strategic foresight principles will be considered an asset.

Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.

This is a designated position within the Yukon public service which requires the following condition(s) of employment:

• Must possess and maintain a valid Yukon Class 5 driver’s licence or equivalent
