Key Responsibili tiesLead all on-site construction activities from project mobilization through complet ion.Promote and maintain a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requireme nts.Coordinate, supervise, and mentor field staff, trades, subcontractors, and suppli ers.Develop, monitor, and update construction schedules to ensure milestones and project deadlines are achie ved.Plan workforce requirements and allocate resources efficiently to maximize productiv ity.Review construction drawings and specifications to identify potential issues and proactively resolve confli cts.Coordinate inspections and ensure all work complies with project specifications, building codes, and quality standa rds.Monitor subcontractor performance related to safety, schedule, workmanship, and contractual obligati ons.Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, consultants, owners, and design teams to resolve field issues and maintain project momen tum.Manage site logistics, material deliveries, equipment, and site organizat ion.Maintain accurate site documentation, including daily reports, safety inspections, progress updates, deficiencies, and change documentat ion.Support project closeout activities, including commissioning, deficiencies, and final turno
ver. Qualifica tions10+ years of progressive experience in commercial and/or institutional construction, including 5+ years as a Superintendent leading large-scale proj ects.Proven experience delivering projects valued at $20M+ is considered a strong a sset.Experience working for a General Contractor on commercial, institutional, healthcare, education, or public infrastructure proj ects.Design-Build and/or P3 project experience is considered an a sset.Trade certification (Carpentry preferred), Construction Management education, or Gold Seal Certification is considered an a sset.Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, scheduling, quality control, and contract administra tion.Thorough understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and applicable building c odes.Excellent leadership, communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making sk ills.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple subcontractors while maintaining safety, quality, and schedule object ives.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project; experience with Procore or similar construction management software is an a sset.Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within Saskatchewan as requ
