About The Role The Senior Project Manager will lead a complex multi million dollar project through completion, over the next three years. Ensuring alignment with organizational goals and client expectations, this role requires strategic planning, resource allocation, and risk management to deliver projects on time, within scope, and budget. The Senior Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to drive project success and foster continuous improvement. They will also mentor/lead junior project managers and coordinators and contribute to the development of project management best practices within the organization. Ultimately, this position is critical in delivering high-quality outcomes that support business growth and operational excellence across Canada. Minimum Qualifications At least 7 years of project management experience, including leadership of large-scale projects. Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget. At least 5 years of Door and Hardware experience is required AHC designation is an asset Preferred Qualifications Experience managing projects within the Canadian market or regulatory environment. Familiarity with ERP systems Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement certifications. Experience in stakeholder engagement and change management. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timelines, resources, and budgets. Coordinate and lead project team, ensuring clear communication and accountability. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies. Engage with stakeholders to manage expectations and provide regular status updates. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Facilitate project meetings, document decisions, and maintain detailed project records. Mentor and support junior project managers and team members to enhance their skills. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize project delivery processes. Skills The Senior Project Manager will utilize strong organizational and leadership skills daily to coordinate diverse teams and manage multiple project components simultaneously. Effective communication skills are essential for engaging stakeholders, resolving conflicts, and ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle. Analytical skills enable the identification and mitigation of risks, as well as the optimization of resources and schedules. Proficiency with project management tools supports detailed planning, tracking, and reporting activities. Additionally, mentoring and interpersonal skills foster team development and promote a collaborative work environment. Compensation will include variable bonus to be included based on benchmarks achieved throughout the duration of this project. This project is associated with our Red Deer Branch.
