We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Environmental Project Manager to join our experienced team of environmental professionals, based in either our Kamloops or Vernon, BC office. This is an exciting opportunity for junior and intermediate level project managers who are passionate about environmental consulting and eager to grow and advance their project management careers! As an Environmental Project Manager at Triton, you will support and lead the successful delivery of meaningful, high-impact projects while developing strong client relationships, contributing to business development, and learning to mentor junior staff. You will work across a diverse portfolio of clients, including government, Indigenous communities, oil and gas, power, transportation, and industrial sectors. Your Impact Planning, organizing, and managing a diverse array of projects, people, and tasks Leading technical teams to ensure the quality, cost effectiveness, and timeliness of deliverables Maintaining, establishing, and developing client relationships that facilitate the successful delivery of projects and future opportunities Understanding environmental Best Management Practices and advising clients accordingly Cultivating and maintaining relationships with other consultants, construction contractors, regulators, and other stakeholders Supporting corporate business development initiatives, including compiling and reporting on regional business development opportunities Leading and/or supporting the preparation of proposals and cost estimates Maintaining and enhancing Triton’s industry‑wide reputation as a leader in the environmental consulting industry Providing mentorship and training for project staff Providing excellent service to clients, building and maintaining strong, lasting relationships Ensuring safety standards are met, protecting your team and clients Collaborating effectively within Triton’s culture, contributing to a positive and productive work environment Your Skills & Experience Degree or diploma in a related field (e.g., biology, environmental science, geology, geography) is an asset Professional designation or eligibility is preferred Experience working within the environmental consulting industry. Knowledge of and experience with provincial and federal environmental standards, and regulations or guidelines. Demonstrated experience in project management (i.e., budgeting, project tracking, cost-accounting and scope control) and leading and supervising of project teams. Business development acumen (e.g., client relationships, strategic planning, proposal writing). A quick learner, easily adapting to new software applications, systems, and business processes. Effective writing skills and ability to produce meaningful reports and proposals. Organized and self-managed, with a collaborative working style. Strong problem solver able to address challenges with effective solutions that improve systems and/or relationships, and with strong strategic thinking skills. While candidates who prefer a more remote work arrangement with occasional office travel are welcome to apply, preference will be given to those who are local and able to work from either Kamloops and/or Vernon BC office location.
