Trillium Rail Partners (TRP) is a consortium of Amico Major Projects, Alberici Constructors, and Acciona Infrastructure Canada, working closely with Metrolinx to deliver the Stations, Rail, and Systems (SRS) package for the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension, a transformative 9.2 km expansion of Toronto’s light rail network. The consortium signed a progressive design-build Development and Master Construction Agreement (DMCA) in August 2025, to enable the commencement of early construction works and to work closely with Metrolinx to collaboratively progress the design, optimize risk allocation, and establish pricing for key project elements ahead of the main construction works. The Eglinton Crosstown West Extension SRS scope includes: 1. Design and construction of seven new stations, including a mix of underground, elevated, and at-grade facilities 2. Installation of track and railway systems 3. Integration of communications, ventilation, and other support systems for the new line 4. Integration works at Mount Dennis Station to connect the extension with Line 5 Eglinton 5. Utility relocations and road modifications along Eglinton Avenue West Once complete, the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension will extend Line 5 westward from Mount Dennis Station to Renforth Drive, improving connectivity and supporting sustainable transit solutions for the Greater Toronto Area.
