The Role The Project Coordinator is the steady hand behind the scenes on SCMI's commercial projects. Working closely with the Project Manager, you'll keep documents organized and keep projects moving in an orderly, predictable way from start to finish. It's a role built for someone who takes pride in getting the details right, follows a process carefully, and is the person others rely on to keep things on track. What You'll Do Manage and track the operations and maintenance and as-built packages for each project. Navigate project documents, including making sure the field supervisors have the most accurate information. Manage and track requests for information (RFIs) to and from consultants. Manage and track project control numbers (PCNs) from the consultants with our Senior Estimator. Manage and track as-built drawings with site foremen Attend crucial site meetings. Assist division supervisors with day-to-day coordination and troubleshooting tasks. Support the Project Manager with daily administrative tasks. Qualifications And Assets Valid Manitoba Class 5 driver's license and reliable transportation to and from our Grande Pointe office. Proficiency with Microsoft 365, especially Excel. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Post-secondary education in construction, engineering technology, or business administration is an asset. Experience in any coordination, administrative, or support role. Comfortable reading technical documents and drawings.
