Job summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a major ERP implementation while also managing a portfolio of strategic and operational IT initiatives for a Victoria based client of ours. This role partners closely with business and technology leaders to deliver high-impact programs with strong execution discipline. Approximately 50% of this role will focus on the ERP program, with the remaining time supporting infrastructure, security, and data-related projects. This is a delivery-focused position requiring strong collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on project leadership. This contract opportunity is open to candidates remotely but will require ocassional travel to Victoria, BC to work on-site for key meetings and has an initial term of 12-months. Key Responsibilities ERP Program Leadership Lead end-to-end delivery of the ERP implementation from detailed design through build, testing, and go-live Facilitate value stream mapping and business process mapping sessions to document current-state and design future-state workflows Establish and maintain ERP governance, delivery approach, and working cadence Develop and manage integrated project plans, schedules, dependencies, and milestones and more IT Project Delivery Lead a portfolio of infrastructure, security, and data initiatives Translate technical inputs into structured project plans and measurable outcomes Manage scope, schedule, budget, risks, issues, and dependencies across concurrent projects Balance strategic and operational workstreams while maintaining focus on business value Stakeholder Engagement & Governance Provide clear project visibility and decision support to executive leadership Prepare and present updates to the ERP Steering Committee Participate in bi-weekly IT governance meetings to support prioritization and coordination Proactively identify risks and facilitate mitigation discussions Build trusted relationships across Finance, IT, and business teams Project Controls & Reporting Maintain project documentation repositories (SharePoint) Develop dashboards, executive summaries, and status reporting Ensure plans and documentation are current and audit-ready Contribute to continuous improvement of project delivery practices Qualifications Education & Experience Significant experience leading complex, cross-functional projects Hands-on experience delivering at least one full-cycle ERP implementation, with focus to FI side Proven vendor and system integrator management experience Experience in finance-intensive environments (finance, investment management, professional services) is a strong asset Skills & Attributes Collaborative, delivery-focused project leader Strong organizational skills with high standards for documentation and follow-through Pragmatic application of project management methodologies Confident communicator with experience presenting to senior leaders Strong problem-solving mindset with a partnership-oriented approach Comfortable managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile certifications are assets but not required
