Job summary
Restoration Mate | Scarborough, ON | On-site/Office Restoration Mate is growing fast and looking for a hands-on Project Manager to manage field projects from initial assignment through completion. This is not a traditional desk job. You’ll spend significant time in the field, coordinating people, managing multiple active projects, solving problems, communicating with clients, and making sure work gets completed properly and on schedule. We’re looking for someone who is organized, confident, dependable, and comfortable taking ownership. Direct industry experience is not required—we’re more interested in finding someone with the right attitude, work ethic, and ability to learn. What You’ll Do: Manage multiple active projects from start to finish Visit job sites and assess project requirements Coordinate employees, subcontractors, suppliers, and schedules Take measurements and create basic floor plans/sketches Maintain accurate photos, notes, reports, and project documentation Coordinate equipment, materials, deliveries, and pickups Monitor project progress and identify issues before they become problems Communicate with clients and other project stakeholders Review project scopes, budgets, and work requirements Ensure work is completed properly, efficiently, and on schedule Solve day-to-day problems and keep projects moving forward Provide regular updates to management and clients What We’re Looking For: Experience managing people, projects, customers, or field operations Strong organizational and time-management skills Comfortable working independently and making decisions Strong communication and customer-service skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Comfortable using technology, apps, and project-management software Practical, hands-on mindset Valid driver’s licence Willingness to learn and take on increasing responsibility Experience That Could Be a Good Fit: You may come from project coordination, operations, property management, facilities, logistics, field services, hospitality management, automotive, telecommunications, security, trades, or another fast-paced service environment. Industry experience is an asset, but not required. Training will be provided to the right candidate.
