Our client, a prominent leader based in Quebec, is seeking an Intermediate IT Project Manager / Scrum Master to support major digital transformation initiatives, particularly focused on procurement and data ecosystems. Responsibilities Agile Facilitation & Scrum Master Duties Facilitate all core agile ceremonies (Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives). Manage Azure DevOps to keep product backlogs, sprint tasks, priorities, and performance metrics up to date. Coordinate daily team workflows, remove blockers, streamline delivery velocity, and champion continuous improvement. IT Project Management Duties Oversee end-to-end project execution, including scope, schedules, effort estimation, budgeting, and performance reporting. Establish robust governance frameworks to monitor risks, mitigation plans, decision logs, and project dependencies. Align and coordinate internal business groups, technical squads, third-party vendors, and shared service teams. Plan and organize deployment rollouts, change management strategies, communications, and post-implementation reviews. Prepare clear executive presentations and progress reports tailored for leadership steering committees. Qualifications Education: Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience. Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience as an IT Project Manager, Scrum Master, or in a similar hybrid delivery role. Tooling Expertise: Proven hands-on experience using Azure DevOps (or comparable tools) for backlog refinement and sprint tracking. Core Skills: Outstanding interpersonal skills, political acumen, strong ability to simplify complex technical topics, and sharp analytical synthesis. Nice-to-Have Assets: Exposure to data platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Snowflake, Power BI). Industry certifications: PSM I, PMI-ACP, PMP, or SAFe RTE. Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.
