Pontem Group is a newly formed company offering Certified Professional Services, Building Code Consulting and Fire Protection Solutions. Our vision is to provide comprehensive consulting services that connect project stakeholders, which include the client, project team and the authority having jurisdiction together in an efficient and effective manner so that projects can be carried out with the necessary risk mitigation. Our goal as an integral member of the project team is to assist and lead the project in the direction towards success using our knowledge and expertise of the fire and life safety aspects of the building code and by-laws while leveraging our relationship with the Authority Having Jurisdiction. We have an extensive amount of consulting experience in a wide range of building types and sizes, which include commercial, residential, industrial and institutional facilities. We currently have four professionals on staff, three of which are Certified Professionals with extensive experience in navigating the client and project team through the building department and various departments in the City of Surrey and the City of Vancouver to obtain building permits through the Certified Professional Program.
