In this role you will get to work closely with a variety of professionals on Contaminated Sites and Infrastructure Projects. Role will be hybrid with potential to work from home 2 days/week. What You'll Be Doing: The responsibilities for this position will include project management of complex remediation projects, directing investigations and remediation designs and reviewing reports for environmental site investigation (ESA), excess soil planning, and remediation projects for a variety of public and private sector clients. Specific job description includes but is not limited to the following: * Provide technical leadership, project management and technical support related to ESA and Remediation projects including investigations, remediation design and excess soil planning, investigation and management. * Phase One and Two Environmental Site Assessments to CSA and O.Reg.153/04 requirements; * Remedial design and site remediation oversight: including excavations, ISCO, bioremediation, permeable and impermeable barriers, and mechanical technologies (air sparge, pump and treat, dual phase extraction, etc), sediment remediation, mine closures * Excess soil and waste management on infrastructure projects, contributing to planning and design inputs as per O.Reg. 406/19 * Peer review of technical documents and reports; * Support business development activities including proposal preparation on major and minor pursuits; * Project Management, technical direction and review on: * ESA and remediation related projects * Tracking and maintaining budgets and project finances; * Preparing Reports; * Maintain client relationships in various industries; * Liaise and support other engineering disciplines. * Primary point of contact with clients, junior staff, and other project managers. * For the right candidate, (to be evaluated upon joining the team) to be part of our functional management team to mentor and develop our E&E professionals What Required Skills You'll Bring: * BS Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related degree * Currently a Qualified Person (i.e. licensed P.Eng or P.Geo) as defined by Ontario Regulation 153/04, having 15 + years of consulting experience at an engineering firm with strong experience in the applicable federal and provincial environmental laws and regulations within the Ontario jurisdiction. * Successful experience in managing large clients that may be developers, national industrial clients and government agencies. * 5+ years managing contaminated sites projects with consulting values over $500K. * Demonstrated experience with filing of Record of Site Conditions including an understanding of the Tier 2 and 3 Risk Assessment process under O.Reg. 153/04. * Experience working with diverse multidiscipline and/or international project teams. * Aptitude to resolve differences in technical opinions with other senior environmental professionals * Track record of delivering high quality work products * Strong project management acumen to deliver projects within schedule and budgets. * Financially literate from a project management perspective What Desired Skills You'll Bring: * History of managing/mentoring teams with a demonstrated history of staff retention and developing junior and intermediate careers * Knowledge and experience with Emerging Contaminants including PFAS and microplastics * Expertise with additional environmental issues (ie. sediment investigation/remediation, un-exploded ordinance, mine reclamation) * Business Development attributes, including networking and attracting new clients to our team This position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team. Requirements

Candidates must possess a BS Degree in Environmental Engineering or Science and currently be a Qualified Person (P.Eng or P.Geo) under Ontario Regulation 153/04, with over 15 years of consulting experience in applicable Ontario environmental laws. Required experience includes managing large clients, over 5 years managing contaminated sites projects exceeding $500K in consulting values, and demonstrated experience with filing Records of Site Conditions.
