About The Role We are currently recruiting for experienced Project Coordinators to join our team on projects in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (Fort McMurray, AB). What We Offer Competitive hourly rate, negotiable, based on experience Weekly Pay Eligible for annual bonus based on company performance 100% employer-paid drugs, travel, life & dependent life insurance, and AD&D Long-term disability $7000 flex credit account per year (can roll into and health care spending account and/or RRSP) Paid vacation Cell phone allowance or company-provided cell phone Company provided IT asset What You Will Be Doing Reporting to the Project Manager (PM), the Project Coordinator will be responsible for providing ongoing project management support to the project management team by ensuring the effective interpretation and administration of each contract occurs on every project. The ideal candidate will have a technical diploma or engineering degree and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced work environment. Assist PM with defining scope of work portion of contracts, bid evaluation and the subcontractor management review process. Assist PM with progress billing, contract review, and change order preparation as required. Monitor daily progress of job(s) and/or project(s) and ensure that all reporting occurs on a daily, weekly and monthly basis as required. Works closely with the PM to provide input into the safe and effective execution of the overall project plan. Works closely with Construction Management to participate in work face planning for materials, logistics, equipment and subcontracts. Consistently conducts business in accordance with OCL's values, policies, guidelines and established best practices. What We Are Looking For 5+ years of progressive experience on industrial projects as a Project Coordinator An Engineering degree, CET designation or PMP certification would be an advantage Knowledge and understanding of project controls is considered an asset. Strong knowledge of computer software such as Gmail/Google Drive, Microsoft Office and Bluebeam Previous experience in industrial civil, mechanical or piping considered an asset Proficiency in the interpretation of engineered drawings, Isometrics, LDT's and P&ID's Previous industrial construction experience considered an asset Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license Must be legally eligible to work in Canada Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test Why Work With Us Strong leadership that supports employees Opportunities for advancement Diverse projects Team-oriented culture Respectful workplace Safety is our top priority - we are committed to providing a safe work environment.
