Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join their team in North Vancouver. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being both in the field and in the office, supporting project execution from start to finish. You won’t just be supporting projects; you’ll be building communities, gaining real-world experience, and working alongside experienced industry professionals. Location: North Vancouver, BC Key Responsibilities Review and interpret project drawings, plans, and specifications to support execution Assist in preparing cost estimates, budgets, and construction schedules Support field operations by providing technical guidance and construction best practices Track and monitor project costs, performance, and financial reporting Establish and maintain project cost codes and documentation Assist with subcontractor coordination, procurement, and documentation Maintain accurate project records, reporting, and document control What You Bring 3+ years of experience in heavy civil, foundation, or construction projects Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology Strong understanding of cost control, estimating, and project planning Proficiency in Excel, AutoCAD, MS Project, and Microsoft Office tools Knowledge of construction methods, safety standards, and industry practices Strong communication and collaboration skills Excellent problem-solving, organization, and time management abilities A proactive mindset with a strong desire to learn, grow, and contribute Key Skills & Competencies Project scheduling and planning (MS Project or Primavera) Cost estimation and budget tracking Document control and reporting Strong analytical skills and attention to detail Effective communication and teamwork Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, field-driven environment Salary Range: $75,000 – $95,000 per year What They Offer Competitive base salary with bonus eligibility Company-paid RRSP program Comprehensive benefits package 14 statutory holidays per year Ongoing professional development and career growth opportunities The opportunity to grow within a family-owned, industry-leading organization in BC

Requirements
Candidates must have over 3 years of experience in heavy civil or foundation construction and a degree or diploma in Civil Engineering Technology. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and Excel is required along with strong knowledge of construction safety standards.
