Job details
About O-HIVE O-HIVE is an AI and semiconductor technology company developing next-generation spatial intelligence solutions for robotics, industrial automation, and autonomous systems. Our core technologies include Vision-Language Models (VLMs), AI-powered robotic systems, FPGA acceleration, and custom semiconductor (ASIC) design. We aim to bring intelligent visual perception, real-time decision-making, and autonomous functionality directly to edge devices. We are seeking a highly organized and technically capable Project Lead to coordinate engineering projects across robotics, AI software, embedded systems, and semiconductor development. Key Responsibilities1. Engineering Project Management Lead end-to-end project execution from initial requirements and technical planning through prototyping, validation, and deployment. Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, technical deliverables, and resource allocation plans. Coordinate multiple engineering workstreams, ensuring projects remain aligned with business objectives, budgets, and deadlines. Monitor engineering progress, identify technical risks, and implement corrective actions to prevent delays. Establish clear project documentation, reporting procedures, and accountability across engineering teams. 2. Robotics & Automation Projects Coordinate the development and integration of robotic systems involving computer vision, AI inference, motion control, and industrial automation. Manage integration activities across mechanical, electrical, embedded software, and robotics engineering teams. Oversee robotic prototyping, hardware integration, testing, and customer demonstrations. Support engineering teams in validating system performance, operational reliability, and deployment readiness. Coordinate customer requirements and acceptance testing for industrial robotics applications. 3. Semiconductor & Chip Design Projects Coordinate ASIC, FPGA, and embedded hardware development activities, including design, simulation, verification, and prototyping. Track key semiconductor development milestones, including architecture definition, RTL development, design verification, physical design, tape-out preparation, and silicon validation. Facilitate collaboration between chip designers, AI engineers, firmware developers, and hardware integration teams. Coordinate technical dependencies involving semiconductor fabrication partners, component suppliers, and external engineering vendors. Maintain schedules and risk assessments for chip development, prototype manufacturing, and hardware validation. 4. Cross-Functional Engineering Coordination Serve as the primary coordination point between robotics, AI/VLM, ASIC/FPGA, embedded systems, and product engineering teams. Facilitate engineering meetings, technical reviews, sprint planning, and milestone assessments. Translate technical objectives into actionable assignments with clearly defined owners, deliverables, and deadlines. Coordinate engineering activities across O-HIVE's international teams and external technology partners. Identify resource constraints, technical dependencies, and opportunities to improve engineering productivity. 5. Reporting & Stakeholder Communication Prepare weekly project updates, development roadmaps, milestone reports, and risk assessments for executive leadership. Communicate project progress, technical challenges, and resource requirements to internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate customer-facing engineering meetings and technical demonstrations. Maintain engineering documentation, project specifications, test results, and delivery records. Support project budgeting, procurement coordination, and engineering resource planning. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline. 5+ years of experience in technical project management, engineering program management, or multidisciplinary engineering development. Demonstrated experience coordinating hardware and software engineering teams. Familiarity with robotics, embedded systems, semiconductor development, FPGA technologies, or AI-based systems. Strong understanding of engineering development lifecycles, from concept and prototype development through validation and deployment. Proficiency with project management and engineering collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, Microsoft Project, or equivalent platforms. Ability to interpret technical documentation, engineering requirements, system architectures, and development schedules. Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple complex engineering projects simultaneously.
