As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Edmonton team. This role is intended for an individual capable of independently managing multiple projects while contributing to the continued growth of the organization. Position Summary Reporting directly to senior leadership, the Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution including estimating support, contract administration, scheduling, financial management, field coordination, client relationships, and mentorship of junior staff. This position is ideal for someone who has established themselves in the construction, demolition, environmental, or industrial services industry and is looking to become a key member of a growing company. Responsibilities Project Management Manage multiple projects simultaneously from award through close-out. Develop and maintain project schedules and execution plans. Monitor project costs, productivity, and profitability. Review contracts, scopes, and change orders. Ensure timely invoicing and collection support. Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting. Client Relations Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, consultants, and general contractors. Attend project meetings and represent Nucor Environmental Solutions professionally. Identify opportunities for additional work and long-term partnerships. Leadership Provide mentorship and guidance to project coordinators and field personnel. Work closely with operations and estimating teams to ensure successful execution. Support business development initiatives and strategic growth. Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork. Safety & Quality Ensure all projects are executed in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Participate in project planning and risk assessments. Support and reinforce Nucor Environmental Solutions' commitment to health, safety, and environmental excellence. Qualifications Required Experience Minimum 8–10 years of project management experience in one or more of the following industries: Environmental remediation Hazardous materials abatement Industrial construction Demolition Civil or commercial construction Oil & gas maintenance or turnaround projects Preferred Qualifications Strong understanding of contracts, project financials, and change management. Proven experience managing projects ranging from $100,000 to several million dollars. Ability to lead teams and mentor junior staff. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software. Valid Class 5 driver's license. Certifications Considered Assets PMP designation Gold Seal Certification NCSO, CRSP, or CRST designation First Aid, CSTS, and other industry safety certifications Compensation & Benefits Nucor Environmental Solutions offers a competitive compensation package designed to reward experienced professionals: Competitive salary based on experience.
