Job summary
Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada The Inside Sales Representative / Project Manager – Commercial/Applied will, among other things, be responsible for handling requests related to commercial/applied products presented to the department. The person will act as support and reference to Outside Sales Representatives. Manage products in the Winnipeg area, the company's purchasing group and logistics. What you will accomplish with us: Bidding phase: Analyze plans, specifications, and proposals. Make lists of products to be bid on in the plans and specifications and in proposals. Choose products from manufacturers’ pricing software. Ensure that the quoted products meet the requirements of the plans and specifications and of the proposals and involve external representatives in the process. Put together bids to send to contractors. Sales phase: Be involved in following up on proposals developed with customers and representatives. Adjust bids for negotiation. Negotiate and/or participate in proposal negotiation. Ensure that the notes related to proposals in development are updated. Project Management phase: Assess the technical content of the plans and specifications and of the proposals, and ensure that the products sold meet the specified requirements in collaboration with external representatives and the technical director as needed. Actively participate in meetings to establish closing strategies for key projects. Monitor the project from the qualification phase through its completion. Provide technical support to clients and the team. Act as a facilitator throughout the process of completing the project. Act as a quality ambassador for ongoing projects. What You Bring to Our Team: Specialized studies in building mechanical engineering (P.Eng or C.E.T., mechanical and/or BAC engineering in a relevant specialty). 7 – 10 Years experience with selecting applied equipment, Air Handling Units, Air-Cooled & Water-Cooled Chillers, Heat Pumps, Fan Coils Previous Project Management experience in the mechanical/HVAC_R industry. Strong Communication skills Ability to build relationships with customers (internal & external) and suppliers. Strong curiosity and technical learning skills. Strong planning skills. Autonomy and rigor in the management of priorities. Encourages good collaboration.
