SOMMAIRE DU RÔLE Sous la supervision du Directeur de l’exécution de projets, le Gestionnaire de projets est responsable de mener à terme les projets qui lui sont confiés, en atteignant les objectifs de rentabilité, d’échéancier et de performance technique, tout en maîtrisant les risques et en saisissant les opportunités. Il doit posséder une bonne connaissance du marché hydroélectrique, tant sur le plan technique que stratégique. PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS Définir les objectifs, contraintes et livrables des projets en collaboration avec les parties prenantes internes et externes. Diriger, mobiliser et encadrer les membres de l’équipe multidisciplinaire de projet afin d’atteindre les objectifs, dans le respect du budget et des échéanciers; Assurer la conformité entre les processus projets, les outils normalisés et les exigences contractuelles. Suivre de près les échéanciers, la facturation et les flux de trésorerie associés aux projets. Organiser et superviser les activités sur chantier, en collaboration avec le coordonnateur de chantier. Coordonner à distance les sous-traitants et entrepreneurs œuvrant sur les sites. Négocier et résoudre les enjeux en cours avec les clients, en favorisant une approche relationnelle et contractuelle. Identifier, analyser et partager les leçons apprises tout au long du cycle de vie du projet. Animer les revues techniques des projets et assurer la gestion documentaire associée. Être l’interlocuteur principal pour les clients, sous-traitants, bureaux d’ingénierie et équipes internes. Élaborer des échéanciers détaillés (MS Project, Primavera), identifier les chemins critiques, anticiper les risques et appliquer des mesures correctives. Animer les réunions de suivi de projet et rédiger les rapports de progrès. Identifier les risques et mettre en œuvre des mesures d’atténuation efficaces. PROFIL RECHERCHÉ Diplôme universitaire en génie mécanique ou électrique, ou formation technique équivalente avec expérience significative en hydroélectricité. Minimum de 10 ans d’expérience en gestion de projets dans les secteurs hydroélectrique, ou 15 ans en gestion de projets d’envergure complexes. Solide expérience en coordination d’équipes multidisciplinaires et en gestion de sous-traitants; Excellentes aptitudes en communication, leadership mobilisateur et sens aigu de l’organisation. Formations obligatoires : Travaux en hauteur Espaces clos Carte ASP Construction Bilingue (français/anglais) : une excellente maîtrise de l’anglais, à l’oral comme à l’écrit, est essentielle. Le poste implique une communication régulière avec des clients et partenaires situés dans d'autres provinces canadiennes, aux États-Unis et en Europe. ROLE SUMMARY Under the supervision of the Director of Project Execution, the Project Manager is responsible for successfully delivering assigned projects by meeting profitability, schedule, and technical performance objectives, while effectively managing risks and seizing opportunities. A solid understanding of the hydroelectric market, both technically and strategically, is essential for this role. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Define project objectives, constraints, and deliverables in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Lead, mobilize, and supervise the multidisciplinary project team to achieve goals within budget and schedule. Ensure alignment between project processes, standardized tools, and contractual requirements. Closely monitor project schedules, billing, and cash flows. Organize and oversee on-site activities in collaboration with the site coordinator. Remotely coordinate subcontractors and contractors working on-site. Negotiate and resolve issues with clients using both relational and contractual approaches. Identify, analyze, and share lessons learned throughout the project lifecycle. Lead technical project reviews and manage associated documentation. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, engineering firms, and internal teams. Develop detailed schedules (MS Project, Primavera), identify critical paths, anticipate risks, and implement corrective actions. Lead project follow-up meetings and draft progress reports. Identify risks and implement effective mitigation measures. QUALIFICATIONS • Solid experience in coordinating multidisciplinary teams and managing subcontractors; • Excellent communication skills, strong leadership, and a sharp sense of organization; • Mandatory training required for the position: • Working at heights; • Confined spaces; • ASP Construction card. • Bilingual (French/English): Excellent spoken and written English is essential. The role involves regular communication with clients and partners in other Canadian provinces, the United States, and Europe.
