Company Description As one of world’s leading and fastest-growing home furnishing retailers, we know what it takes to build a satisfying career. The company is very proud of the inclusive and collaborative culture. Our values – Tradesman, Colleague, and Corporate Spirit – are not just words on the lunchroom wall but are consistently communicated and lived. Our values are undoubtedly the reason JYSK has flourished in Canada over the last 30 years with more than 70 stores and 1100+ Colleagues. Job Description JYSK Canada is looking for a proactive, highly organized Marketing Project Coordinator to join our integrated marketing and ecommerce team. You'll play a key role in keeping campaigns and initiatives organized, visible, and moving forward - including digital marketing, website promotional updates, flyers, store-opening support, and select customer experience projects. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, Ecommerce and Customer Experience, you'll establish practical timelines and systems that keep the team aligned. You'll maintain project plans against the promotional calendar, follow up on action items, flag risks, coordinate with agencies and vendors, route assets and approvals, support basic QA, and keep documentation up to date. Functional leaders remain accountable for strategy, creative direction, budgets, and final approvals. Key Responsibilities: Project coordination and communication Coordinate recurring programs and one-time projects across the integrated marketing and ecommerce team. Support the Head of Marketing, Ecommerce and Customer Experience in establishing protocols, timelines, and coordination systems. Maintain project plans in Microsoft Planner and Teams, ensuring each task has a clear owner, deadline, status, and supporting information. Track milestones, approvals, dependencies, and deliverables. Send reminders, follow up on outstanding items, and flag risks before they affect delivery. Provide concise status updates covering completed work, upcoming deadlines, decisions needed, and risks. Prepare meeting agendas, briefs, and presentations. Capture decisions, action items, and owners, and follow up after meetings. Identify gaps in project plans — missing owners, unclear requirements, conflicting deadlines, unresolved dependencies. Campaign and digital coordination Coordinate timelines and deliverables for campaigns across website, paid media, email, SMS, flyer, and other channels. Work with channel owners to keep activities aligned with the promotional calendar and broader digital campaigns. Coordinate website promotional updates — briefs, assets, copy, approvals, tickets, launch dates, and basic QA. Route campaign assets and approvals across internal teams, agencies, and creative partners. Translate the marketing calendar into actionable project plans in partnership with channel owners. Coordinate deliverables for recurring promotional programs. Support store-opening marketing workstreams — timelines, asset requests, approvals, local requirements, and launch-readiness communication. Compile campaign results and consolidate channel-owner input for status updates and recaps. Ecommerce and cross-functional projects Coordinate the team's deliverables within selected ecommerce, technology, operations, and CX projects. Maintain alignment among functional leads by documenting responsibilities, dependencies, decisions, and deadlines. Support cross-functional working sessions so requirements and deliverables stay visible and on schedule. Track the team's contributions to website projects, without owning technical requirements or delivery decisions. Vendor and process coordination Act as day-to-day operational contact for assigned agencies, vendors, and partners. Track vendor commitments, timelines, and deliverables. Escalate scope, budget, or performance concerns to the appropriate owner. Maintain marketing SOPs, templates, and shared documentation so information stays current and accessible. Collaborate with the team to improve project-management processes and reporting as needs evolve. What this role brings to you? Be a part of a dynamic team and culture. The opportunity to have a rewarding career with access to a wide range of learning and development opportunities for career advancement. A great benefit package (including medical, vision and dental, and RRSP program). Discounts with local and national retailers (cell phones, gym memberships, entertainment tickets, hotels, etc.) through Perkopolis. A free 24/7 Employee Assistance Program available to you and your family. An amazing colleague discount on all JYSK products. We host a variety of social events and team building activities throughout the year. What do you bring to the role? 3+ years in project coordination, operations, or another deadline-driven role managing multiple stakeholders and concurrent workstreams with competing deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication — status updates, meeting notes, briefs, and action plans. Skilled at turning discussions and incomplete information into clear actions, owners, and deadlines. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in following up with colleagues, agencies, and vendors across different audiences. Comfortable with project/task-management software and Microsoft 365 (Teams, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint); able to learn new tools quickly. Able to spot missing information and coordination risks, and work independently within established priorities. Open to learning marketing, ecommerce, website, and customer experience workflows. Preffered: experience coordinating marketing campaigns, agencies, or creative/technical partners; familiarity with website updates, asset approvals, or QA; experience maintaining SOPs or compiling results for reports. Compensation: Generally, the hiring range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000 annually; the base pay offered is based on location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, internal and market equity.
