Title: Senior Business Analyst – PMO Digital Transformation & GenAI Location: Downtown Core (Hybrid: 4 Days Onsite / 1 Day Remote) Contract Duration: 1 year with possibility of extension About the Opportunity We are looking for a high-velocity, autonomous Senior Business Analyst (5–8 years) to take total ownership of the BA function for an enterprise PMO digital transformation initiative at a top financial services institution. This is not a traditional governance role—you will be the single BA on a fast-moving, high-impact team driving an inflight platform that integrates JIRA, MS Project, and RAID data into executive-grade dashboards. You will shepherd the tool through its immediate MVP launch, then lead the integration of Generative & Agentic AI to automate executive reporting and predictive risk modeling. Why Take This Contract? Full Ownership: Complete end-to-end BA autonomy—your decisions directly shape product direction and executive reporting. Aggressive Momentum: Deliver 3 critical milestones in the first 6 months. What You’ll Execute Months 1–2 (Sprint to Launch): Own UAT end-to-end for the MVP. Coordinate with project delivery teams, triage defects with the PO/PM, and drive a smooth production go-live. Months 3–6 (AI Phase 2 Expansion): Gather requirements for advanced AI features: GenAI-assisted status reporting, agentic risk analysis across program portfolios, and predictive analytics. Partner directly with AI Dev teams to validate models and prepare training data. Ongoing Product Ownership: Develop user stories and acceptance criteria, design clean, executive-ready dashboard/report layouts (and automated PowerPoint outputs), and manage stakeholder dynamics across competing cross-functional priorities. Requirements 5–8 Years as a Business Analyst: Proven track record in software delivery, product design, or enterprise technology environments. PMO & Risk Expertise: Deep understanding of project management methodologies, risk/issue reporting, and enterprise governance. Design Eye: Hands-on experience designing clean, executive-ready dashboards and report layouts (translating raw data into polished executive presentations). Technical & Data Stack: Proficient in JIRA; hands-on comfort with data (SQL, Excel, Tableau/Power BI) and data mapping (MS Project, RAID logs). Execution & Drive: Highly comfortable with ambiguity, fast timelines, evolving scope, and unblocking cross-functional friction independently. Nice-to-Have Financial services or regulatory/compliance experience. Exposure to AI/ML product development. Agile delivery leadership, UAT coordination, or change management background.
