POSITION OVERVIEW Reporting to the Automation Director, the Project Manager is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and executing engineering projects from the proposal stage through to commissioning at the client’s site. The Project Manager is accountable for the successful delivery of projects and is directly responsible for achieving the expected outcomes. PROJECT MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES * Understand the client's needs and processes in order to prepare proposals that meet project specifications, including applicable warranties and guarantees. * Develop project schedules and prepare design reports and specifications for each proposal. * Plan, administer, and ensure compliance with the administrative, accounting, and budgetary controls for projects under their responsibility. * Ensure quality control both internally and externally, while acting as the primary liaison between the client and the project team throughout the project lifecycle. * Coordinate the activities of the project team and various departments at every stage of the project to ensure successful execution. TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide technical expertise for the development, design, and implementation of projects, including the analysis and design of automated systems. * Plan PLC programming activities and prepare the required technical specifications. * Serve as a technical resource for the team, participate in on-call and emergency support when required, and provide customer training on implemented systems. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES * Comply with Qualtech's health and safety policies and procedures. * Contribute through decisions and attitude to maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment. * Provide expertise, assistance, and support to colleagues. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment. * Respect and promote the company's values. * Perform any other related duties as assigned. REQUIRED EDUCATION * Bachelor's degree in Automated Production Engineering or a related field. * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. * College diploma (DEC) in Industrial Electronics. * Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered. DESIRED PROFILE * Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role. * Experience with PLC programming. * Knowledge of the Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) software suite. * Knowledge of Visual Basic programming (an asset). * Experience in the food processing industry (an asset). * Availability to travel regularly (approximately 30%). * Proficiency in both French and English, written and spoken, to communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and English-speaking employees. Requirements

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Automated Production or Electrical Engineering, or a college diploma in Industrial Electronics. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar role with proficiency in PLC programming is required.
