This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a construction professional ready to take ownership of complex commercial projects from initiation through to successful completion. OVERVIEW As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, and control of assigned construction projects, ensuring each one is delivered on time, on budget, and in line with company standards and client expectations. You will work across estimating, scheduling, cost control, client relations, and site coordination throughout the full project lifecycle. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in project profitability, and brings strong organizational and problem-solving skills to their work. HIGHLIGHTED DUTIES Plan, prepare, and manage construction schedules, monitoring job progress against timelines and budgets Source suppliers, solicit competitive pricing, and analyze subcontractor bids; revise estimators' project bids and prepare Bluebooks Oversee cost monitoring and control, and communicate project profitability to leadership Estimate, price, and coordinate change orders and work orders; manage back charges and claims Oversee progress billing, approve and revise supplier invoices Maintain site document control, including work orders, change orders, drawings, and requests for information Manage client relations, attend job site meetings, and conduct Job Progress Meetings with the project team Inspect and address quality issues, and support project closeout, including submittals, warranties, and extra materials EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Accredited college diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field Previous experience managing or coordinating a commercial construction site is a strong asset Gold Seal Certification is considered an asset Bilingualism is considered an asset Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and a high volume of information simultaneously Proficiency with computerized project management and information management systems WHAT THEY OFFER The opportunity to join a reputable Atlantic Canadian construction firm with a strong project pipeline A collaborative team environment with experienced leadership and established processes Exposure to diverse commercial projects across the Atlantic Provinces COMPENSATION: 120k - 130k Questions can be forwarded to [email protected].
