Job summary
Prodomax Automation Ltd. is currently seeking a PROJECT MANAGER to join our team. Pay Range: $85,000 - $135,000 The actual compensation a successful candidate will be offered within the range stated for the role will vary based on factors relevant to the position. The Project Manager will manage all facets of multi-million dollar projects including the initiation, engineering, procurement, assembly, development & commissioning phases of projects. As a Project Manager with a minimum of 8+ years experience n the role, you will lead, influence decisions and proactively partner with the operations teams, skilled trades, design, sales, senior management and our customers. This role reports directly to the Director of Project Management. Job Responsibilities: * Monitor & control project activities to meet financial targets and timing schedule * Bi-weekly financial reporting of project performance * Primary customer interface for projects * Develop project schedules and timelines, facilitating and driving project scoping, planning, execution, and closeout. * Communicate with customers to conduct update meetings and reviews * Set up and lead meetings and reviews to coordinate the requirements of internal and external customers. * Coordinate with various departments for machine build * Collaborate with shop floor, automation team, and project management team. * Installation and build planning of the project * Timely delivery of tasks and escalation of concerns * Organize project documentation, including quotes, correspondence, requisitions, schedules, etc. * Preparation of quotes using in house Master File * Maintain proper safety and housekeeping standards * Other miscellaneous duties as assigned * Limited Travel to monitor site activities QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Job Qualifications: * 8+ years of practical experience * University Degree in related field or equivalent work experience * Preference will be given to applicants with P Eng / PMP designation * Excellent excel skills * Excellent communication and leadership skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders * Excellent time management skills to prioritize assignments and plan how best to sequence tasks to meet deadlines * Ability to work with a team and independently as required * Possess drive and motivation to continuously learn on the job * High energy and the flexibility to perform under short time constraints to meet deadlines * Strong Technical Background * Strong Knowledge of MS Office * Excellent customer service skills * Attention to detail; ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines * Adapt to change and constant improvement * Excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills * Strong effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) * Ability to successfully engage and interact with all levels of employees in a multicultural environment * Ability to encourage CFT to meet timelines and foster team building Our Benefits: * Safe, professional work environment * Women's Network and Inclusion and Diversity Committee * Employee training, development, tuition and professional fee reimbursements * Competitive salary and profit-sharing plan * Accrual of vacation pay during parental leave * Partial tuition reimbursement for employees’ children * Comprehensive Group Health & Dental Benefit Plan for single employees and those with families. Requirements
Requires a university degree in a related field and at least 8 years of practical project management experience. P.Eng or PMP designations are preferred, along with strong technical knowledge and leadership skills.
