Position Title: Project Manager Salary: 140K-160K + benefits and bonus Location: 5 days a week onsite in Calgary JOB DESCRIPTION Insight Global is looking for an experienced Project Managers for one of Canada's leading employee-owned commercial general contractors located in Calgary, AB working on the project site 5 days a week. We are specifically seeking construction professionals who have built their careers within reputable General Contractor environments and have successfully delivered ground-up commercial new build projects. This individual will be responsible for the full lifecycle delivery of commercial construction projects ranging from approximately $5M to $150M+, beginning in preconstruction and design development and continuing through procurement, construction, turnover, and closeout. The ideal candidate will have experience delivering projects under both Construction Management (CM) and Lump Sum / Stipulated Sum contract models and understand the transition of projects from preconstruction through execution. This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to build lasting client relationships while driving successful project outcomes. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • 8+ years of experience working for a Commercial General Contractor • Proven experience delivering ground-up / new build commercial projects • Experience managing projects from preconstruction and design development through closeout • Demonstrated experience working directly with owners, architects, consultants, and design teams during the design and planning stages of a project • Experience delivering projects under both: ○ Construction Management (CM) delivery models ○ Lump Sum / Stipulated Sum (CCDC 2) delivery models • Valid driver's license and ability to split time between office and active construction sites NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE • Experience delivering projects valued at $30M+ • Experience on institutional, education, healthcare, mixed-use, recreation, or large commercial projects • Experience leading open-book CM projects and converting projects into Lump Sum delivery models • Strong understanding of tender recap processes, value engineering, constructability reviews, and risk analysis • Gold Seal, PMP, P.Eng., CET, Construction Management, Engineering, or related education • Experience participating in proposal development and client presentations • Experience mentoring multiple PMs and project teams • Familiarity with Lean Construction, IPD, or collaborative project delivery approaches • Existing relationships within the Western Canada commercial construction market
