Job summary
Project Coordinator The Project Coordinator plays a key role in supporting project managers, site supervisors, and field crews by ensuring projects are well-organized, properly documented, and executed efficiently. This role combines coordination, communication, and administrative responsibilities to support the successful delivery of projects from initiation through completion. Reporting to: Project Manager Key Responsibilities • Review and analyze contract documents, customer specifications, and blueprints • Identify project constraints and recommend solutions to increase site efficiency. • Attend pull plan meetings and weekly site update meetings; provide the customer updates on material status and installation schedules. • Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure site readiness. • Maintaining and update project schedules to reflect current timelines • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project status logs for internal and external stakeholders • Assist in pricing and processing change orders, directives, and extra work orders, ensuring proper documentation and execution • Coordinate communication between project managers, field teams, suppliers, and customers Administrative Responsibilities • Perform day-to-day administrative tasks including document control, filing, and record keeping • Prepare and distribute meeting minutes, reports, and project documentation • Assist with procurement activities including purchase orders and material tracking • Ensure all project documentation is complete, accurate, and properly archived Qualifications • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in structural steel erection and miscellaneous steel installation. • Strong organizational and time management skills. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints. • Experience with project scheduling and coordination. • Ability to problem solve and adapt in a fast-paced environment. • Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
