Job details

Company Description GTA Elite Contracting specializes in repair and upgrade work for multi-residential apartment buildings and condominiums across the Greater Toronto Area. The company focuses on three core service pillars—unit turnovers, riser repair projects, and common area hallway upgrades—tailored to the needs of property managers, building owners, and condominium boards. GTA Elite Contracting is known for efficient unit preparation, seamless drywall restoration after mechanical work, and durable hallway improvements in high-traffic areas. Because the team works exclusively with multi-residential properties, it prioritizes reliable scheduling, clean workmanship, minimal tenant disruption, and consistent quality across multiple units or floors. The company regularly partners with property management firms, plumbing contractors, restoration companies, and building maintenance teams to deliver dependable project outcomes. Role Description The Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON, responsible for overseeing repair and upgrade projects in multi-residential buildings from planning through completion. This role includes coordinating project timelines, managing resources and subcontractors, and ensuring work aligns with client expectations and building requirements. The Project Manager will supervise site activities, monitor quality and safety compliance, and conduct inspections to confirm that unit turnovers, riser repairs, and hallway upgrades are delivered on schedule and within scope. Daily tasks include liaising with property managers and partners, managing logistics for materials and crews, preparing status reports, and promptly addressing onsite issues to reduce tenant disruption. The role requires proactive communication, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects across different properties. Qualifications Demonstrated Project Management experience overseeing construction or renovation projects in multi-residential or similar environments. Experience in Expediting and working as an Expeditor to ensure timely delivery of materials, permits, and project documentation. Proficiency in Logistics Management, including coordinating schedules, crews, and supply chains across multiple job sites. Background in Inspection, including conducting site walkthroughs, quality checks, and safety compliance reviews. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with property managers, contractors, and building teams. Solid knowledge of construction processes, drywall repair, and interior restoration is an asset. Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to work on-site across multiple properties in Toronto, ON, and adapt to active residential environments. Relevant education or certification in construction management, project management, or a related field preferred. Familiarity with project management software and basic digital documentation tools.
