Grey County isn’t just a great place to work; it’s a great place to live! Situated just over two hours north of Toronto, Grey County offers beauty you can't get in the city along with a lifestyle that is more relaxed and family oriented. We are the fourth largest county in Ontario (serving more than 100,000+ residents) and employing approximately 1050+ people, making us one of the areas largest and most diverse employers. As an upper tier municipal government in southwestern Ontario, Grey County is a family of distinct and proud communities that showcase natural beauty and economic opportunity. We value our heritage, clean & healthy environment, and peaceful rural lifestyle. And, no matter the season, there’s always something to do in Grey. The Grey County Administration Office, located on the south side of Owen Sound, is the centre of operations and the site of the the Grey County Council Chamber. Grey County has many additional locations throughout the county to support operations like long-term care, paramedic services, road maintenance, social services, and more.
