Position Summary Our client is a niche industrial solutions provider specializing in engineered fluid handling equipment and systems for complex operational environments. They deliver comprehensive project support, from system design and planning through installation, commissioning, operation, and project close-out. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of projects from initial planning and estimating through execution, commissioning, and close-out. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards while coordinating both office-based and field operations. Working closely with clients, internal stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams, the Project Manager provides technical leadership, manages project resources, monitors performance, and drives project execution from concept to completion. Responsibilities Manage the full project lifecycle from pre-project planning and estimating through execution, commissioning, and project close-out. Deliver projects safely, on schedule, within budget, and to established quality standards. Coordinate both office-based and field operations while supporting short- and long-term project execution. Serve as the primary technical and project management contact for clients and internal stakeholders throughout project delivery. Lead multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful planning, execution, monitoring, reporting, and project controls. Collaborate with business development teams to transition prospective opportunities into active projects. Provide technical expertise during estimating, proposal development, and project planning. Develop technical solutions and project plans that meet client requirements and operational objectives. Prepare project execution plans, including resource requirements, bills of materials, schedules, and procurement needs. Coordinate activities between operations, procurement, field teams, safety personnel, and other stakeholders. Oversee installation, commissioning, and project close-out activities while ensuring compliance with project specifications. Allocate and manage labour, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and rental resources. Monitor project costs, budgets, forecasts, change orders, and overall financial performance. Track project progress, maintain schedules, and proactively address risks or delays. Ensure accurate project documentation, reporting, cost tracking, and field records. Lead safety initiatives, conduct risk assessments, and promote compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements. Maintain quality standards through inspections, audits, and adherence to client specifications. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular project updates and resolving issues. Lead, mentor, and support project teams in both office and field environments. Contribute technical expertise to business development and future project opportunities as required. Qualifications Minimum 5+ years of project management experience in construction, industrial services, infrastructure, utilities, or similar industries. We are particularly interested in candidates who come from fluid systems, industrial water/wastewater, pumps, dewatering and piping. Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline is an asset but not required. Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP) is considered an asset. Experience managing project budgets, subcontractors, equipment, materials, scheduling, and project controls. Strong understanding of project planning, financial forecasting, cost management, and operational execution. Knowledge of project documentation, reporting, and labour, equipment, and material cost tracking. Demonstrated leadership, communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software. Experience with industrial fluid systems, pumping, water management, or related technical applications is considered an asset. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Ability to travel to project sites as required and possess a valid driver's license. Ability to meet applicable workplace fitness-for-duty and safety requirements.

Requirements
Requires 5+ years of project management experience in construction, industrial services, or utilities, preferably with expertise in fluid systems. A degree in Engineering or Construction Management and a PMP certification are considered assets.
