We're partnering with a large Canadian healthcare organization undergoing a major transformation initiative, including a multi-wave Workday HCM & Payroll implementation. The program will support approximately 200,000 employees across multiple healthcare organizations, bringing them onto a unified Workday platform while standardizing processes and systems, with the wider transformation running through 2029. We're seeking a Workday Functional Project Manager to provide project leadership across the functional Workday workstreams, coordinating internal teams, the implementation partner and key business stakeholders to drive successful delivery through design, build, testing, deployment and stabilization. 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀: 🔸 Role – Workday Functional Project Manager 🔸 Type – 12 to 18+ month contract 🔸 Hours – 40 hours per week 🔸 Rate – Open, dependent on experience 🔸 Location – 100% Remote – Canada 🔸 Time Zone – Pacific Time 🔸 Project – Multi-wave Workday HCM & Payroll implementation 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: 🔹 Strong Workday project/program management experience, with responsibility for functional delivery 🔹 Multiple years of Workday experience, including end-to-end implementations 🔹 Experience managing Workday functional workstreams across areas such as Core HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Recruiting and Talent 🔹 Experience managing delivery across design, configuration, testing, deployment and stabilization 🔹 Strong experience coordinating functional consultants, business stakeholders, SI teams and other Workday workstreams 🔹 Strong project planning, RAID management, dependency management, status reporting and stakeholder management experience 🔹 Large enterprise Workday implementation experience – 50,000+ employees ideally 🔹 Experience within healthcare, government, public sector, unionized or similarly complex environments highly desirable 𝗜𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗷𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲-𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲, 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴-𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗿 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵!

Lead functional Workday workstreams for a large-scale HCM and Payroll implementation within a Canadian healthcare organization. Coordinate between internal teams, implementation partners, and business stakeholders through design, build, testing, and deployment phases.

Requires extensive experience in end-to-end Workday implementations, specifically managing functional workstreams for large enterprises of 50,000+ employees. Experience in complex environments such as healthcare, government, or unionized sectors is highly desirable.
