Job summary
Falkbuilt’s approach to interior construction—Digital Component Construction—combines proven construction methods with next-generation technology to deliver beautiful, high-performing, cost-effective interior environments. We’re reshaping how interiors come together, and we’re looking for people who want to help build the future of construction. The Role As an HQ Project Manager, you’ll join Falkbuilt’s HQ Project Management Services team, providing hands-on project management support to Falkbuilt Branches across Canada and the United States. You’ll often act as an extension of the Branch team, managing projects from award through installation and closeout while bringing Falkbuilt HQ’s experience, processes, and resources to the project. This is not strictly a desk-based role. We’re looking for someone with meaningful construction site experience and a strong understanding of construction sequencing, trade coordination, site readiness, installation, and the order of operations required to successfully deliver commercial interior projects. You should be comfortable on active construction sites—understanding what’s happening, identifying what needs to happen next, and coordinating with General Contractors, Superintendents, trades, installers, clients, and Falkbuilt Branches to keep projects moving. Project Management experience is highly valued, but we also welcome candidates who have developed their expertise in the field. A strong skilled-trades background is a major asset, and a Red Seal certification in a relevant trade would be a significant advantage. The role combines office and site responsibilities and requires travel to project locations throughout Canada and the United States. Responsibilities * Manage commercial interior construction projects from award through installation and closeout, ensuring they meet schedule, budget, quality, and project requirements. * Provide hands-on Project Management support to Falkbuilt Branches across Canada and the United States. * Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, risks, documentation, RFIs, and change orders. * Understand and manage construction sequencing and dependencies between Falkbuilt’s scope and surrounding trades. * Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and digital models to identify coordination and site-readiness issues before they impact installation. * Conduct site visits, progress reviews, field walks, and project meetings; identify and resolve issues affecting installation and project progress. * Support installation teams and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to project requirements. * Help Branches develop installation strategies, phasing, site logistics, and recovery plans when challenges arise. * Represent Falkbuilt HQ professionally while continuously improving project execution, communication, and coordination. Qualifications * Meaningful hands-on experience working on active commercial construction sites. * Strong understanding of construction sequencing, trade coordination, site logistics, and installation requirements. * Construction Project Management experience is strongly preferred; commercial interiors, architectural products, or related experience is an asset. * Skilled-trades experience is a major asset. Red Seal certification in a relevant construction trade is highly desirable. * Ability to work effectively with General Contractors, Superintendents, Project Managers, trades, installers, architects, designers, clients, and Branches. * Ability to identify site-readiness issues and understand how other trades can impact Falkbuilt’s installation. * Strong problem-solving, communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and digital models. * Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office; willingness to learn Falkbuilt’s digital platforms. * Willingness to travel throughout Canada and the United States. * Practical, collaborative mindset with a passion for improving construction execution. Why Join Falkbuilt? * Be part of a company transforming the way commercial interiors are built. * Combine real-world construction experience with Project Management rather than leaving the field completely behind. * Work directly with Falkbuilt Branches on challenging projects across North America. * Gain exposure to innovative digital tools, manufacturing, and prefabricated construction. * Join a fast-paced, supportive, growth-focused team with opportunities for advancement.
