Role Description Elevate CM is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator role is an important, fast-paced position with responsibilities including liaising with project team members, stakeholders, preparing and revising documents, and supporting the Project Manager on a day-to-day basis. This role will be a full-time on-site position. This role presents to an ambitious person joining a growing company and to take on challenges—a great opportunity for long-term growth and learning. The candidate will be given autonomy and responsibility, but also management support within a collaborative team environment. We are looking for people with a curiosity to challenge the status quo and push for better ways to do things. Our approach is based on much more effort in pre-con and setting up a proactive project environment. This makes the construction phase much more efficient and much less stressful. Responsibilities Project & Document Coordination Manage project documentation including drawings, RFIs, SIs, shop drawings, and change orders Maintain organized and up‑to‑date project records and logs Distribute drawings and documentation to internal teams and external consultants Prepare meeting agendas, record minutes, and distribute action items Project Support Provide day‑to‑day administrative and coordination support to Project Managers Assist with schedule updates and tracking of key milestones Support budget tracking, purchase orders, and change management processes in coordination with the Controller Communicate regularly with owners, architects, engineers, and contractors Site Support Support Site Superintendents with on‑site administrative and coordination needs Assist with day‑to‑day site organization and communication Help coordinate site activities and follow up on assigned action items Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve internal processes and project workflows Contribute positively to a collaborative, solutions‑oriented team culture Take on additional responsibilities as skills and experience develop Qualifications Diploma or degree (or currently enrolled) in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field 3–5 years of experience in a construction project coordination or similar role (co-op or internship experience considered) Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong organizational and time-management skills Strong proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)—MS Project is an asset Knowledge of building codes and workplace safety is an asset Ability to commute to office and project sites as required

What you’ll do

The Project Coordinator will manage project documentation, maintain organized records, and provide administrative support to Project Managers. They will also assist with site coordination and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Requirements

Candidates should have a diploma or degree in a related field and 3-5 years of experience in construction project coordination. Strong organizational skills and proficiency in MS Office are essential, along with the ability to read construction drawings.
