Job summary
Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager – Enterprise Cybersecurity to lead the planning and delivery of complex cybersecurity initiatives within a large enterprise banking and investment environment. The successful candidate will manage multiple security projects spanning infrastructure, cloud, identity, application security, and regulatory compliance while working closely with business leaders, technology teams, security architects, and third-party vendors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in enterprise project delivery, cybersecurity governance, and financial services, with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and deliver initiatives that strengthen the organization's overall security posture. Key Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end delivery of enterprise cybersecurity projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, security strategy, scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations. Develop and maintain project plans, milestones, RAID logs, resource plans, and governance documentation. Coordinate cross-functional teams including Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Cloud, Application Development, Architecture, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and business stakeholders. Manage project governance activities, executive status reporting, Steering Committee presentations, and stakeholder communications. Identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies, and mitigation strategies. Coordinate implementation activities across multiple technology teams while minimizing operational and business risk. Ensure cybersecurity initiatives align with enterprise architecture, technology standards, and regulatory requirements. Manage third-party vendors, implementation partners, and external service providers throughout the project lifecycle. Support organizational change management, implementation planning, production readiness, and transition to operations. Drive continuous improvement of project delivery practices and governance processes. Required Qualifications 8+ years of Project Management experience delivering large-scale enterprise technology initiatives. 5+ years managing Enterprise Cybersecurity programs or projects. Experience within a large banking, investment management, or regulated financial services environment. Proven experience delivering cybersecurity initiatives involving one or more of the following: Identity & Access Management (IAM) Privileged Access Management (PAM) Cloud Security Network Security Endpoint Security Security Operations (SOC) Vulnerability Management Data Protection / Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Security Compliance and Risk Management Strong understanding of enterprise technology infrastructure, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), and security architecture principles. Experience managing multiple concurrent projects within Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, and executive presentation skills. Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical teams in complex enterprise environments. Preferred Qualifications PMP certification. Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe, or Agile certification. CISSP, CISM, or CRISC certification is considered an asset. Experience supporting regulatory and audit initiatives within financial services. Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, or PCI DSS. Knowledge of Microsoft Azure security services, Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Entra ID, Sentinel, or other enterprise security platforms.
