D&G Landscaping is a commercial landscaping and heavy civil construction company based in Greely, Ontario. We are proud to have worked on some of the largest landscape construction projects in our nation's capital. Our projects include Parliament (West Block & Centre Block), Lansdowne Park, Rideau Street, Elgin Street, multiple OLRT Stations to name just a few. The Project Manager is responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of landscaping and civil construction projects across industrial, commercial, institutional, municipal, and public infrastructure sectors. Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Project Manager oversees project execution from pre‑construction through closeout, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with contract requirements. This role also supports estimating activities during seasonal downtime, including quantity takeoffs, pricing, and bid preparation as required. Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day project operations, scheduling, coordination, and communication with clients and subcontractors Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to plan work and identify risks or opportunities Monitor project progress, production, costs, and quality to ensure compliance with contract requirements Prepare and track progress quantities for invoicing and payment applications Lead subcontractor coordination, procurement, and site logistics planning Support change management, including pricing, documentation, and negotiation of change orders Conduct regular site visits, inspections, and meetings with field staff and stakeholders Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements Assist with estimating during off-season periods, including takeoffs, pricing, and supplier/subcontractor coordination Contribute to bid strategy, cost planning, and pre-construction reviews Qualifications: Minimum five years of experience in project management within civil construction, landscaping, excavation, or related sectors Strong ability to read and interpret civil drawings, grading plans, and landscape designs Experience with progress quantities, unit-rate civil work, and change pricing Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with construction software such as Bluebeam or similar platforms Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills Valid G-class driver’s license What We Offer: Competitive salary based on experience Opportunities for growth into senior project management and estimating leadership Supportive team environment with direct access to senior leadership Exposure to a wide range of civil, landscape, and infrastructure projects Training and development opportunities Company phone and laptop Mileage reimbursement or vehicle compensation available and tailored to the successful candidate
