Global Financial Firm located in MISSISSAUGA, ON has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Capital Markets Project Manager Pay Rate: $62.00 - $66.00 Negotiable based upon years of experience Summary: Work Mode: Hybrid Location: Mississauga, ON This role is for an existing vacancy. Responsibilities: Program and project management delivery, ensuring project goals are met in a timely fashion. Deliver cross-functional projects in Capital Markets, Trading, and related Front Office functions. Support the lead Program Management team in the execution of Capital Markets projects. Drive execution of regulatory and business deliverables under the Markets Transformation Initiative. Coordinate with stakeholders to track deliverable progress and report statuses. Maintain strong documentation and organizational skills. Manage internal and external dependencies across initiatives. Gather business requirements and draft relevant project documentation. Ensure target state tools, processes, and controls are effectively socialized and approved. Demonstrate analytical skills with follow-up and problem-solving capability. Requirements: Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience. Demonstrated project management experience in major/complex institutions. Strong knowledge of Capital Markets structures, products, technology, and environments. Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle across products and asset classes. Proficiency in the software delivery lifecycle, both waterfall and agile. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proficient in slide creation, presentation, spreadsheet, and data analysis. Experience working with Front Office / Trading / Sales teams. Strong understanding of applicable regulations and compliance requirements. Preferred Skills: Data analytics/SQL knowledge is a plus. Bachelor’s/University degree minimum; STEM and/or Advanced/Master’s degree a plus. Project Management certifications, e.g., PMP or equivalent, are a plus. Consulting experience is a plus.
