In this role you will become an integral part of the Buildings Engineering Division and will be responsible for undertaking project management of buildings projects for a variety of public and private sector clients. Guiding the project team through the preparation of technical reports to support the project deliverables and ensure the project and client needs are met in an effective and timely manner. Preparing engineering fee estimates. Monitoring, controlling, and reporting project status internally and externally. Preparing proposals and participating in business development/marketing initiatives for the group. Applying Project Management principles to effectively motivate and guide project teams. Does this sound like you? An undergraduate degree in Engineering from an accredited university; post-graduate degree in Engineering or Project Management is an asset. Registered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Engineer with APEGA. 8+ years’ progressive experience in buildings engineering and/or project management. Proven project management experience. Technical expertise in the design and construction of buildings. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Requirements

Requires an undergraduate engineering degree and registration, or eligibility for registration, as a Professional Engineer with APEGA. Candidates should have at least eight years of progressive buildings engineering and/or project management experience, proven project management experience, building design and construction expertise, and strong communication skills; a postgraduate degree in engineering or project management is an asset.
