Job#: 3050307 Job Description: Data Center Project Manager Location: Canada (Remote with 50-100% travel) Role Overview The Data Center Project Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of Hardware Deployment Projects for external customers in their data center environments. This role involves leading technical resources to deploy hardware and providing ongoing communications to the customer, project team, and sales team. The Project Manager will track project status against plans, forecast and earn associated revenue, and notify management of issues and risks that could impact project delivery. Collaborate with a team of Project Managers for guidance on issues and procedures. Travel extensively (50%-100%) across Canada and potentially the United States, working onsite in customer data centers. Required Qualifications Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of IT Project Management experience supporting infrastructure deployment projects is required. Candidates must have recent hands-on project management experience involving Data Center Deployments, Enterprise Networking, High-Performance Computing (HPC), and Server and Storage Infrastructure. Experience managing customer-facing projects and interacting directly with executive and technical stakeholders is necessary. Skills: Candidates must possess a strong understanding of project management methodologies, processes, and controls. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, are required. The ability to work with limited supervision to achieve project objectives is essential. A results-oriented mindset with strong attention to quality and customer satisfaction is also needed. Qualifications A Bachelor's Degree is preferred. Experience with Networking and/or High-Performance Computing (HPC). Canadian Citizenship is highly preferred for potential cross-border travel. Work Environment This position requires a commitment to travel up to 50-100% of the time. Travel may be to various locations with diverse weather conditions, from hot, desert-like environments to very cold northern climates, particularly during winter in Canada. Travel costs will be reimbursed. The standard rotation is two weeks onsite followed by one week remote, though longer stays may be an option.
