Job summary
One of our major clients is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their team on a 1-year contract in Kitimat, BC. This individual will oversee the planning and delivery of projects from initiation to completion, focusing on achieving business and project objectives through managing contracts, resources, budgets, changes, and risks. Projects may be capital or closure project. This is a great opportunity for a collaborative and knowledgeable professional to grow their career in a large-scale industrial utility. Key Accountabilities: Implements projects in accordance with the approved scope Implements an effective stakeholder engagement plan through the life of the project Monitors, manages and reports all relevant project performance indicators to meet business requirements Manages relationships with key project stakeholders Provides technical support to project stakeholders Collaborates with stakeholders to define, estimate and deliver on requirements Resolves any project delivery performance issues in a timely manner Assists with the sourcing of vendors / consultants as required Identifies and where appropriate implements improvements to project delivery methods Monitors, manages and reports all relevant project performance indicators to meet business requirements What we are looking for: Technical experience – background, P.Eng Project Management Pillars, Gated Process Industrial Experience - Heavy industry, large complex, unionized environment, multi-national Leadership - any previous leadership experience Previous experience managing consultants/engineering firms

Requirements
