Job summary
Job Description We are looking to connect with an experienced Workday Functional Project Manager available for contract work. This is a delivery leadership role responsible for managing functional workstreams across a complex, multi-year Workday HCM implementation. If you've led functional delivery on a large Workday program and know how to keep business stakeholders, SI partners, and internal teams moving in the same direction, we'd love to hear from you. What You'll Be Doing Own end-to-end delivery management for functional workstreams across a Workday HCM program Develop and maintain detailed functional project plans, milestone tracking, and dependency maps Facilitate regular workstream status meetings with functional leads, business SMEs, and SI partners Identify and manage risks and issues across functional delivery; escalate to program leadership as needed Coordinate business readiness activities including design sign-offs, UAT, and go-live preparation Manage relationships with functional stakeholders at all levels — from SMEs to executive sponsors Produce clear and concise status reporting for program leadership and governance forums Support change management and training planning in collaboration with OCM resources Drive accountability across cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables are completed on time and to quality What We're Looking For 7+ years of project management experience, with 3+ years specifically on Workday or HCM functional workstreams Demonstrated experience managing multiple functional streams simultaneously on a large ERP or HCM program Strong understanding of the Workday implementation lifecycle — from design through to post go-live stabilization Proven ability to manage relationships with SI partners and hold them accountable to delivery commitments PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred Excellent communication and facilitation skills — comfortable at both executive and working team levels Experience working in public sector, healthcare, or similarly complex stakeholder environments is an asset Affinity Earn Know someone who’s great for this, or any of our open roles?
