As a tools administrator and GIA programmer, you support IT efficiency by designing, configuring, administering, maintaining and upgrading computer networks, management systems and database servers in accordance with the organization's needs.

You plan, design, modify, implement, update and develop data structures for important projects and initiatives in medium- to large-scale database environments. You install, configure and support database management systems. You ensure that the organization's databases are secure, accurate, consistent, maintained and used optimally. You plan and prioritize work to meet objectives. Your projects and initiatives require extensive knowledge of your line of work.

You help solve complex problems using your analytical skills and extensive knowledge of your line of business. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders working in other fields.

You serve as resource person to the IT development team for database modifications and new development.

Specifically, you will administer and maintain the platform synchronizing Desjardins Group's identity directories, i.e. Microsoft Identity Manager and Azure AD Connect. You will analyze the business rules needed to meet the needs of various projects and develop the business needs in C#.  You will document the solutions under your responsibility.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Ensure project alignment between project teams as well as during implementation; provide technical support to GIA Operations; monitor problems and follow up with project coordinators.
  • Develop implementation strategies, analyze, design and document the necessary solutions to meet project business needs.
  • Administer, configure and update GIA technology platforms under your responsibility.
  • Document all systems procedures.
  • Manage incidents and problems relating to GIA tools under your responsibility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience
  • Experience using directories: Active Directory DS, Active Directory LDS, Azure AD and OpenLDAP
  • Experience using synchronization technologies: MIIS, ILM, FIM, MIM and AD Connect
  • Experience using LDAP and REST protocols
  • Experience in managing incidents
  • Experience using programming languages: .NET C#, PowerShell and Azure CLI (an asset)
  • Experience using source code management tools: lTFS, GIT and SVN (an asset)

  • Knowledge of basic networking (e.g. DNS, Trust and Firewall)
  • Knowledge of access management concepts (e.g. single sign-on (SSO), federated identity, authentication, authorization (RBAC/ABAC), impersonations and digital identity) (an asset)

  • Knowledge of Windows Server environments (an asset)
