As Desjardins Group's Senior Project Investment Strategy Advisor, you lead a multidisciplinary ecosystem of collaborators to drive the Business sector investment prioritization and monitoring process.
You will be part of a team that makes recommendations pertaining to the investment portfolio's multi-year trajectory and the selection of projects that call for analysis and a comprehensive, in-depth understanding of the business and the organization. Coordination is critical, so you interact with a large number of stakeholders working in a variety of fields. A cooperative mindset and interpersonal savvy are therefore essential.
You serve as a specialized advisor and subject matter expert in your field, act as a contact and influence decision-making bodies at Desjardins Group (e.g., Management Committee, Board of Directors).
General Information on the Position
Implement the organization's project investment strategy and use your in-depth knowledge of the business environment and Desjardins Group's strategic planning to guide discussion
Identify the changes required to allow the organization to play its full role in investment planning and monitoring
Work with the various stakeholders to develop key performance indicators and criteria to support investment decisions
Improve the process and establish success factors for validating project investment requests
Monitor and develop best practices and standardize work methods among teams to ensure cohesion and synergies within the organization

Workplace: Currently regular telework because of the pandemic. Position located in Lévis or Montreal, depending on the applicant selected. The work arrangement for the position is hybrid work

Bachelor's degree in a related field
A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience
Experience in implementing project investment plans
Experience in developing performance indicators and/or dashboards
Experience in making presentations to executive members
Experience in consulting on strategic mandates (an asset)
