WHAT’S THE JOB?

The Marketing Manager will report to the General Manager. The Marketing Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating all marketing, educational and social engagement activities Campus wide. Ensuring that all facilities maintain a high quality visual and engagement standard in alignment with our branding standards and client expectations.  They will be responsible to ensure that the program maintains a consistently high-quality program.

The Marketing Manager:

  • Create, maintain and execute a dynamic calendar of activities throughout the academic year.
  • Actively monitor social media platforms and develop strategies to promote customer engagement
  • Conduct surveys, focus groups and measure guest satisfaction and reach in the community
  • Create and produce collateral elements in media or print formats to support each activity
  • Work closely with Residential Life, Sustainability Office, Communications and Customer services at McGill
  • shall master staff evaluation, training and service excellence techniques
  • shall work with the Culinary and Residence Dining Directors to track and continually improve the overall program.
  • Work with the retail managers to continuously improve services and appearance with signage and merchandising
  • shall manage the Marketing annual budget.
  • Will have 2 coordinators as direct reports

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • must have a minimum of 3-5 years, similar level.  Experience in higher education to be an asset
  • Bilingualism, written and oral is a mandatory requirement.
