As a Specialist - Computerization and collaboration tools you will report to the Senior Director - Information Technology and will be responsible for the evolution of the numeric tools and solutions with the objective of improving productivity.  This includes, among others, Microsoft Office 365, collaboration systems, document management tools and communication tools.

Your experience, your knowledge of new technologies, your autonomy, your ability to solve problems and your communication and training skills will make you the ideal candidate.

Your day-to-day:

  • Define and drive the implementation of the vision and strategy around systems and numeric tools to optimize employees productivity;
  • Define action plan and identify the business requirements, functional specifications to provide new functionalities, revisit and improve existing systems and tools related to productivity;
  • Implement and manage solution operating model and evolution, including maintenance and support of the various system and applications;
  • Coordinate change management activities related to the implementation and evolution of the technologies with the business stakeholders;
  • Implement approval mechanism and use of technology procedures
  • Analyze and participate to the conception of collaboration process and information management where appropriate;
  • Manage solution & system evolution project, insuring timely delivery within approved budget;
  • Participate in the contract definitions and negotiation and manage related contractual obligations;
  • Proactively identify potential problems in the processes, technologies, training and end-user adherence and propose remediation course of action.

Your skills, our requirements!

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or equivalent;
  • 7 to 10 years of experience in a similar position;        
  • Strong analytical skills - business requirements and business process reengineering;          
  • Advanced knowledge of collaboration and numerical tools and system, including Microsoft;
  • Seasonned IT project manager, specifically in planning and implementation of major system an asset;
  • Experience in project management                
  • Poficient in written and spoken French and English, Spanish an asset.

  • The position is available at the company's head office in Longueuil, near the Longueuil-Université-de-Sherbrooke metro station.
  • Possibility of working from home (hybrid formula).
