Your challenge!

As a Scrum Master, you contribute to building and cultivating the SAFe (Agile) culture and practices in the organization. You will be responsible for leading and shaping SAFe (Agile) and Scrum practices for the team in the context of IT application development and maintenance. You must build a trusting and open environment that encourages sharing, continuous improvement and problem solving within the team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality control of the planning table and the various sessions (daily stand up / planning meetings / revisions / retrospections).
  • Ensure that the Scrum team is functional, efficient and properly organized. Ensure the efficient use of the SAFe (Agile) approach as well as respect for SAFe (Agile) values and the Scrum reference framework.
  • Ensure transparency on the progress of the work. Manage and eliminate obstacles raised by the team.
  • Protect the team from uncontrolled expansion of work.
  • Help the team to focus on daily objectives and iteration objectives.
  • Coordinate cooperation between teams and help the team to function properly on the train.
  • Guide the Product Owner to maximize the value delivered in order to achieve its objectives.

Education

  • College diploma en Information technology ou Administration
  • Desired experience
  • Experience in manufacturing (pulp and paper industry, an asset);
  • SCRUM Master certification (an asset);
  • Knowledge of SAFe Method (Agile) (an asset);
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master;
  • Experience in Scrum processes, dependency tracking and conflict resolution techniques.

Technical competencies

  • Good knowledge of the Office Suite;
  • Bilingual.

  • Travel to our St-Bruno / KFalls office is required.
