The Tissue Group, a division of Cascades, is the second-largest tissue producer in Canada and the fifth-largest in North America. The Division manufactures, converts and markets a huge selection of paper products, such as hand towels, bathroom tissue, facial tissue, napkins, paper towels, wipers and dispensers for the North American away-from-home and consumer products markets. The Group has more than 2,200 employees and operates seven manufacturing plants, nine conversion plants and four plants with both manufacturing and conversion facilities.


Your challenge! 

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, you will have the following main functions:

  • Collect, analyze, evaluate and report data to increase sales productivity
  • Collect sales records& trends and evaluate performance measured against sales quotas
  • Analyze sales and performance records and interpret results or overall sales
  • Assist management in developing and reviewing sales budget
  • Coordinate the complete sales reporting and forecasting process for all sales channels
  • Communicate sales reporting and sales forecasting to Senior Management
  • Analyze results and set-up reports containing respective conclusions, ideas, and general guidance
  • Generate ad hoc reporting for sales, Marketing, Pricing, Business Planning and Product Management
  • Communicate results to key stakeholders in order to support informed business decisions by providing in-depth analysis and recommendations
  • Ensure current and future data and software requirements are met

Operational Excellence 

  • Adjust his or her activities based on needs and internal or external changes
  • Be thorough and impartial in setting prices
  • Organize his or her activities to efficiently and effectively meet the needs of the sales departement
  • Validate and process price information thoroughly and in a timely manner

  • Carry out activities in an ethical manner and respect the Cascades culture
  • Help maintain an effective internal control structure to minimize business risks related to operations and/or fraud

Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Economics/Statistics 

Desired experience 

  • Strong experience of at least 5 years in a similar role

Technical competencies 

  • Good knowledge of Windows environment but mastering Excel
