DEADLINE: FRIDAY, JANUARY 24, 2020 – 12:00 P.M.

Reporting to the Vice-President Academic, the Project Coordinator will work closely with the Administration Team and key stakeholders.  Office administration, data and information management will be key activities of this position and the incumbent will support the planning, development and implementation of special development projects.

The incumbent will act as an internal resource person regarding project activity implementation and will support quality assurance initiatives.


  • 3-year Diploma and/or Degree in Education and/or Business, Administrative Studies or an equivalent field required
  • Education related to project management is considered an asset
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with progressive responsibility; experience in a post-secondary environment required
  • Lean Six Sigma Certification and/or Project Management Certification an asset
  • Experience with resources optimization and lean management projects
  • Experience working with internal and external stakeholders in a planning or coordinator capacity required
  • Demonstrated skills in project management
  • Strong technology skills including but not limited to proficient use of MS Office Suite and Human Resources Information System – ADP Workforce Now
  • Excellent writing skills with proofing and editing proficiency



  • Support the planning, development and implementation of special development projects
  • Assists program/project development teams
  • Act as an internal resource person regarding project activity implementation and support quality assurance initiatives
  • Support the development of proposals and implementation and delivery of special projects
  • Work within department expenditures and monitor budget for projects
  • Support and maintain mechanisms to track quality processes and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Gather, collate, maintain and analyze institutional data required for reports
