Ours is a future focused on digital health technologies that scale both within and far beyond the traditional walls of the hospital. As a valued member of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Transformation Team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering transformational projects that will maximize these investments while remaining on time, on scope and on budget. Applying your project management knowledge, clinical expertise and interpersonal skills, you'll execute projects to successful completion using our enterprise project management methodologies and tools.

As Project Manager, you'll be expected to take part in the Crisis on-call rotation, approximately 7 days per 16-week rotation.

To join our dynamic team as a Project Manager within our ICT Department, you must be a self-motivated, skilled facilitator and manager of change whose knowledge base and skill set include:

  • Community college or university degree specializing in business, project management or a health-related field
  • CAPM or PMP designation
  • Experience in a health care/public sector would be an asset
  • Demonstrated 5-10 years' progressive, relevant experience in Project Management, including project budget management
  • Proven ability to communicate project status to various stakeholders related to project execution
  • Experience with Microsoft Suite, including MS Project and SharePoint
  • Expertise surrounding change management and end-user adoption
  • Ability to estimate development efforts and define activities to support project deliverables and establish milestones, which will be continually evaluated and prioritized
  • Demonstrated ability to handle a large and diversified workload with often rapidly changing priorities and challenging deadlines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate in a meaningful way
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and take action
  • Exceptional analytical, conceptual and problem-solving abilities
  • Highly self-motivated and directed approach, with keen attention to detail
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, coaching and negotiation
  • Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle for multi-site hospital travel
  • Ability to maintain consistent, regular attendance.
