Job Function:           

The Director of Information Systems is responsible for the strategy, management, and security of all technology operations, infrastructure, and tools in support of our Credit Union’s objectives.

Our Director will be knowledgeable in IT systems, adept at serving business needs through technology, and able to foster innovation through their team.

Your team is part of Transformation, accountable to drive Mainstreet’s strategic growth plan. Your team includes an IT Product Specialist and a Systems Support Technician.

 Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop our technology strategy and investment plan to achieve Mainstreet’s Vision 2030
• Maintain a culture of Cyber-safety and protect the Credit Union’s key digital assets
• Develop, implement, and monitor all IT Policies and systems to support Mainstreet’s organizational strategy
• Superintend vulnerability audits, penetration tests, and forensic IT investigations, ensuring that any outcomes are understood and applied

• Direct technology crisis management by investigating the cause of a breach and implementing the right solution

• Motivate, develop, and foster a high performing team; contribute to Mainstreet’s collaborative development culture
• Manage technology related third-party relationships and contracts
• Direct the administration of both local and wide area networks – maintain uptime

 Qualifications:

• University degree or work equivalency (10+ years relevant work experience)
• Knowledgeable in information technology, network administration, and cybersecurity, with the ability to direct subject matter experts
• Ability to lead and influence across all levels of an organization
• Compelling storyteller
• Proven cross-enterprise and third-party relationship management success
• Ability to identify technology requirements and business solutions
• Keen awareness of industry standards and trends
